Hi,

You know that feeling when you’re so excited about something that you assume everyone else must be just as excited, only to realize you haven’t actually explained it very well?

Just me? Fair.

When I sat down to plan the start of my year, I realized something important: part of the reason I don’t have a full group ready to launch The Hook Lab is simple: I haven’t really told many people about it.

So today, I’m fixing that.

(If you already know about it, feel free to skip ahead—just don’t miss the P.S. 😉)

Introducing: The Hook Lab

If you’ve been reading this newsletter for a while, you already know two things:

  1. Thought leadership matters.

  2. You should probably be doing more of it.

The Hook Lab is designed to help you actually do it.

It’s a small, structured group where together we will:

  • develop thought leadership ideas

  • share what you published and how it performed

  • get real feedback

  • and—most importantly—stay accountable week after week

How it works

Each Hook Lab includes five founders, CEOs, or senior leaders, led by me.

We meet once a week for one hour.

Each week, you’ll:

  • Bring at least one piece of thought leadership you published (typically a LinkedIn post)

  • Share what happened—what worked, what didn’t

  • Get group feedback and coaching

  • Workshop ideas for the week ahead

Sometimes we’ll workshop together. Other weeks, we’ll use the time as focused “body-doubling” work time while staying on the call. Occasionally, there may be a guest speaker.

I’ll lead every session, track metrics over time, provide weekly idea frameworks, share best practices, and coach based on my experience working with founders and executives on thought leadership.

The commitment

Each Hook Lab runs for six months.

That timeframe matters—it gives you enough runway to experiment, learn what works, and build a repeatable strategy.

Members commit to the full six months up front, and the group stays closed once it begins. While everyone understands the occasional missed week, the value comes from showing up consistently.

And yes—there’s skin in the game.

The investment is $1,500 per member, because accountability only works when it matters.

A note on being early

This is the first iteration of The Hook Lab, which means we’ll be building some of it together. That’s part of what makes it exciting!

Not only will we refine your thought leadership strategy, we’ll also shape what makes this group most valuable—and I’m very open to feedback along the way.

I’d love to kick off the first group this month. I just need a few more founders, CEOs, or leaders to make it happen.

Interested? Hit reply and let me know.

See you next week,
Megan

P.S. Because this is the inaugural Hook Lab, and there will be some learning as we go, I’m offering a one-time 33% discount for this first group.

That brings the investment to $1,000 for six months of guidance, feedback, and accountability around building thought leadership.
