After more than a decade of working in the various forms that public relations and communications have taken, I’ve decided to offer my ideas and advice to a larger audience than just who I run into in person or meet with on Zoom. It’s become clear to me over this year that “putting yourself out there” is more important than ever, and that more CEOs, founders, and entrepreneurs are looking for ways to do so, even on limited resources.

The Hook will be my weekly thoughts on thought leadership (how meta) — including practical tips, encouraging advice, and plenty of reasons why it’s worth the effort. Think help on how to reach out to a media list (and how to create one), when (and when not) to work with influencers, and why you should definitely be posting more on LinkedIn.
